Joseph Gurian is an acclaimed and accomplished lawyer with a long-standing career in the area of U.S. Immigration Law. Joseph earned his Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Florida International University. He is an esteemed member of the Florida Bar and has successfully won thousands of difficult immigration cases such as deportation defense, asylum hearings, family petitions, marriage and citizenship interviews, green card renewals, and work permit applications. 


Joseph's expertise has been recognized by many organizations and peers; he has been AV-Rated Excellent for Immigration as well as AV-Rated Preeminently Qualified by his colleagues. Additionally, he was honored by the South Florida Legal Guide three consecutive years running from 2017 to 2019 as a Top Up and Comer in his field. Joseph was also recognized as a Top 100 US Immigration Lawyer by VPN.com.


Joseph is incredibly passionate about helping immigrants unite with their families while striving to create a better future within the United States for upcoming generations.

Since the inception of Gurian Group , P.A., Joseph has achieved many impressive cases which have allowed individuals and families to stay in the country legally; he also assisted several young immigrants in attaining two year stays under President’s new Student Deferred Action Policy in July this year. Moreover, he was invited to be a guest speaker at a community forum organized by Students Working for Equal Rights (S.W.E.R.) and Miami-Dade College recently - reiterating his ambitious drive to assist immigrants everywhere in any way possible.
